Jason R. Kretzer

Jason R. Kretzer, a native of Van Lear, Kentucky, lived in eastern Kentucky until the age of 20. After graduating from Johnson Central, Jason attended Morehead State and later Harding University where he earned a BA in Chemistry Education with certification to teach high school. He then moved to northern Kentucky to seek more education at Northern Kentucky University where he earned a BS and MSCS in Computer Science. Being concerned with the so-called "brain drain" in eastern Kentucky and wanting to raise his children in an area with strong family values, Jason returned to eastern Kentucky to become the webmaster at Big Sandy Community and Technical College. Jason then proceeded to Pikeville College where he was the ITS Support Services Administrator leading a four person technology team. Now, Jason concentrates full time on his passion at the East Kentucky Web Group. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time at the "home place" with his family.
